Jon Bon Jovi Talked A Woman Off Of Bridge Ledge And Helped Save Her Life

Jon Bon Jovi noticed a woman standing on a bridge ledge, and the rock star left what he was doing to talk her away from the ledge and helped save her life.

Bon Jovi was filming a music video on the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville, Tennessee, when he and one of his staff noticed a woman standing on the other side of the guardrail looking down.

The star and his staff member stopped what they were doing and approached the woman in need, waving hello and starting a conversation from a gentle distance while leaning on the railing near her.

As they talked Bon Jovi came a bit closer, and after a few minutes had convinced her to come back to the safe side of the bridge.

Together with his staff member they helped lift the woman over the guardrail, and then Bon Jovi and the woman shared a hug as her appeared to be giving her words of inspiration.

Bon Jovi also gave her a much needed hug.

The Bridge’s CCTV camera was later accessed and the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department shared a video of it online.

“A shout out to Jon Bon Jovi and his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge [on] Tuesday night,” the police department wrote. “Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety.”

Bon Jovi not only runs multiple free meal soul kitchens for people in need, but he appears to also be an angel who shows up for certain people when they need it the most.
