If Your Husband Does These 10 Things, You Hit The Marriage Jackpot

Marriage is a beautiful union between two people, and is a relationship that gives so much to be thankful for. If your husband does some or even all of these 12 things, you can be sure that you’ve made a good decision and hit the marriage jackpot:

1. He Professes His Love For You

Sharing and showing love is what relationships are all about, and having a significant other who is able to freely express his feelings of love for you sets the stage for a healthy relationship.

2. He Adores His Mom

If your husband treats his mother with gentleness, love and respect, then there is very good chance that he will end up treating you the same. His mother was the first woman in his life and his bond with her can often reflect how he may treat others. This is not always the case, as relationships can be harmed if a parent is verbally or physically abusive, but for the most part if your husband loves and adores his Mom, you can be sure he’s going to feel the same way about you.

3. He Continues To Take You On Dates

In marriage, keeping the love alive often consists of finding new ways of loving the same person. If your husband keeps the charm alive by flirting with you, finding new adventures for you to go on, or even trying to learn new things with you, then he is young at heart and is doing what it takes to keep the love alive with you.

4. He Prioritizes You

He puts you above anyone else in his life and is always there for you. He keeps his promises, honors his commitments and does not let you down. You can really trust him.

5. He Helps You Find Magic In The Mundane

It’s easy to get comfortable living together and in having the same daily routine, yet instead of becoming bored with the day-to-day, your husband helps to make these daily activities fun. It could be something as simple as singing a song while washing the dishes, or playing a game with the kids to get them to help you cleanup. They key is that he’s making an effort to help you enjoy life in the little things, and in this way he’s also loving you.

6. He Inspires And Encourages You

Working each day and having a routine can cause people the forget the dreams they had in their youth and in their hearts. Your husband not only knows your dreams but also supports you in pursuing and achieving them. Be it traveling the world, getting your Ph.D., or owning a bakery, he will help you follow your heart and will be your biggest cheerleader when you succeed.

7. He’s Your Rock Of Calmness

Who do you first rush to if you feel disappointed, depressed or need someone to talk to? If the answer is your husband, then he is truly your best friend. When life gets tough, he is there to listen and to comfort you, helping you to feel better and to regain your sense of inner peace.

8. He Works Hard

He works hard to create a happy life for the two of you, and you can count on him when it comes to helping support your family. Whether you both work, he works for both of you, or he’s a stay-at-home dad, he voluntarily helps you in everything and makes your life easier. You know you’ve married a keeper when he also spends some of his free time outside of work doing the things you want to do.

9. He Praises You Often

Validation feels nice, especially if it is coming from the love of your life. This shows that he is actively involved in nurturing your self-esteem so that you can live your best life imaginable. There is nothing more adorable than finding a partner who can feel happy for even the smallest of goals you achieve.

10. He Keeps Reminding You Of His Love

If you’re married to or marrying somebody, then most likely you already know about their deep love for you. Yet it doesn’t hurt to be reminded of it. If from time to time he surprises you with flowers, helps you with a simple task, and goes a little out of his way to make you smile, then you’ve found a life partner who truly loves you.
