When an elderly woman was worried that she would fall while walking on an icy sidewalk, a kind young man held her hand and walked her all the way home.
The kind young man was walking outside while there was snow on the ground and icy sidewalks in some places, when an elderly woman he’d never met before asked him if he could help her.
“A couple of months ago, an elderly lady asked me to walk her home because she was scared she was going to slip on the ice.”
The kind young man agreed, and he held her hand and walked her all the way home. As the two walked, they got to know each other and became friends, and now the kind young man helps walk the elderly woman home almost every day.
“We’ve become friends and now I walk her home almost every day.”
Hundreds of thousands of hearts online have appreciated the young man’s kindness for the elderly woman.

“While I was a police officer I went to an alarm call where an elderly women may have purposely set off the alarm, because when I got there she was upstairs in bed and asked if I could make her a sandwich since I was there, because she was hungry and her aide would leave at 8pm. I made it and I came every night I worked night shift to make sure she always had something to eat. I spent two years helping her,” commented Melissa M.
“What a lovely kind, and thoughtful young man you are. I wish there were more like you. One day you will get your reward,” shared Eileen M.
