He Carried A Disabled Man On A 40 Minute Ride, Who Peed On Him Due To His Condition, Yet His Caring Smile Remained

Helping and being a caretaker of precious human beings who have mental and physical handicaps can be trying at times, and it was during one of these times that this young man named Tully showed us the meaning of having a truly compassionate heart.

It can be common for people with certain handicaps, and also for people who have reached a certain age, to have difficulty controlling their bladders. While this can be an embarrassing moment, especially when in public, being able to gracefully and lovingly show acceptance during such a time can really bring great relief to someone who is already trying so hard each day.

This young man named Tully picked up this 46 year old handicapped man so he could come on the hay ride with him, and from excitement the older man peed on them both. The picture was taken 40 minutes later and shows Tully still compassionately embracing the man, with a smile still on his face.

It is truly beautiful when someone forgoes their own comfort for the sake of helping another.

“There is no greater disability in society, than the inability to see a person as more.”
~Robert M. Hensel.

If you notice someone this week who is struggling and could use your help, take a minute to share a smile, to hold a door open, to share some of your food with them. Your act of kindness may live on in their heart forever.

You are loved.
