A Stranger Noticed This Kitty In The Rain And Donated His Umbrella To Keep Her Dry

It’s well known that cats usually do not like getting wet, whether it’s to take a bath or simply being stuck in the rain.

While feeling sad and deciding to take a short walk to try and find some peace, a beautiful act of kindness was seen as the anonymous photographer wrote the following;

“I was feeling sad, so I went out for a short walk. When I saw this, it made me feel so good. Thank you, kind stranger!”

Whoever saw this wet kitty in the rain felt compassion and decided to give their umbrella to keep her dry, and likely got wet themselves after walking home.

While it is unclear if this cat is homeless or not, it sure does seem to appreciate having a dry place to sleep during the rain.

Not only did this stranger’s random act of kindness help this lovely cat, but it cheered up the person who walked past it, and since has inspired thousands online who also got to share in witnessing this loving act of beauty.

There are also many wonderful animal shelters and charities that devote their time to helping abandoned or hurt animals, and they welcome volunteers who can help to provide love for these little ones.

The Humane Society is one such wonderful organization, and their website explains:

The Humane Society of the United States is the nation’s most effective animal protection organization.

We and our affiliates provide hands-on care and services to more than 100,000 animals each year, and we professionalize the field through education and training for local organizations.

We are the leading animal advocacy organization, seeking a humane world for people and animals alike.”

If you see an animal this week that is struggling or you think you could help, take a moment and share some love with it.

You never know who you might inspire.

“Compassion brings us to a stop, and for a moment, we rise above ourselves.”
