There was a homeless woman searching through a few bags of trash in an alley for food.

“I saw you looking through some of the trash over there, are you trying to get something to eat? Are you hungry or anything?”

“Yeah I’m hungry, but no I just walk through there because, I just look around,” she said.

“Ok, can I get you a sandwich or would you like something to drink?”

“Sure,” she pleasantly said.

Even while likely very hungry, the homeless woman so polite and such a sweetheart. When asked, she said she likes turkey sandwiches and Dr. Pepper.

Walking into Subway, got her a turkey sandwich and a $30 gift card, so that the next time she’s hungry she could go get a sandwich instead of looking for spoiled food in the trash.

“I got you a turkey sandwich, this came with some chips too.”

“Wow!” she said.

She then asked if I would like one of her bracelets, of which she only had two. While having so little, her generosity moved my heart.

“Thank you so much.”

“and actually I got you a gift card too, so there’s $30 bucks on here, so the next time you’re hungry, you just go grab a sandwich ok?”

She sweetly said thank you and we talked for a bit longer.

Homeless Man Given A Hotel Room And His Favorite Food ❤️

A homeless man was standing on the median of a busy street with a sign that read “God bless you.”

When asked if he needed anything to make his day better he said,

“I’m just trying to go over here and go and get a hotel room so I can take a shower and do some laundry.”

He had been staying in the homeless shelter with his friend, but the situation became a little stressful and his friend had court the following day, so he thought he’d like to try and raise a few dollars so the two of them could get a hotel to relax and shower.

“I can get a room for, you know, fifty, sixty bucks a night,” he said.

“What are you at right now?”

“I’m at about twenty.”

He said he’d only eaten a little bit so far today, so I asked him what his favorite food was.

“Hamburger. I just love cheeseburgers,” he said with a smile.

Went and bought him three double cheeseburgers to go, and then got $40 ready so that he could get a hotel room with his friend for the night.

“I got you three double cheeseburgers.”

“Oh you’re awesome man, thank you very much,” he said.

“I also got you $40 here, for you to get your hotel tonight alright.”

“God bless you brother, thank you,” he said.

He was visibly moved and we shared a hug. He also felt relieved as he met his goal for the day and headed to sit down for a few to rest as we talked a little bit more.

“I got a buddy up the street, him and I you know, we were at the shelter, and we just like, ‘we gotta get outta here’. He’s got court tomorrow, and I’m like let’s go try and get a couple bucks where we get a sign, get a hotel room, and he can get cleaned up for court tomorrow, and really it’s a place where we can relax, chill, thank you.”

“So yeah God bless, everything is coming together,” he said.

Bringing Food And Drinks To Some Beautiful Homeless People

There were some homeless people sitting by a bridge underpass, and wanting to brighten their day a little decided to ask them if they’d like anything from the store.

A man sitting down just asked for a water, and a few others asked for a Gatorade and some snacks.

While walking to the store there was an older woman and a young man sitting on the curb, and they were both so gracious and humble.

When asked if they would like something to drink, the young man thought it would just be one drink, so he offered it to the older woman and asked her what she wanted.

“What would you like?” he asked his friend. “Are you getting two drinks or just one?”

“Yeah I can get you two.”

After going to the store was able to bring water, gatorades, an orange juice and some snacks for everyone.

“Thank you so much,” the two friends said.

“Rock on,” said another.

Sweet Homeless Man Given A Pizza And $20 ❤️

Blessing the sweetest homeless man with a meal and twenty dollars.

A homeless man was sitting by the side of the road with a smile, seeming to just enjoy the weather.

I asked him if he needed anything or if he was hungry.

“I wouldn’t mind getting something to drink and something to eat,” he said.

Was looking to brighten his day with his favorite food, but when asked what his favorite food was, he was so humble… and just said that anything was okay.

“Yeah what would you like? What’s your favorite food?”

“Oh I don’t know… any old thing…” he humbly replied.

Besides food he said he just wanted a Sprite.

The only spot nearby was a pizza shop, so I ordered him a pizza and the largest Sprite they had. It took a little bit for them to cook the pizza, so the sweet homeless man may have thought I wasn’t coming back.

“I thought you were just pulling my leg,” he said after returning.

“I got you a pizza, I hope that’s okay, a pizza and a Sprite.”

His sweet smile was accompanied by many sincere thank you’s.

When asked if he needed anything else, he said

“Could use a couple dollars,”

so I handed him a $20 bill, which visibly moved his heart.

Speaking with Chris for a little bit I learned that he waits sometimes by the shelter and hopes for a room, and in the meantime was just sitting peacefully outside and enjoying a beautiful day.

He said his day is “Going great now,” with a smile.

Kind Boy Scouts Answered Disabled Elderly Lady’s Call For Help With Her Overgrown Lawn

A kind group of boy scouts helped mow, trim and clean the lawn of an elderly lady who was embarrassed and no longer able to mow her yard.

A friend of Sylvia Murray, a disabled elderly woman, wrote a post online asking if anyone could help her friend with her yard, as after living there for 22 years Sylvia was no longer able to physically take care of it.

Sylvia had become increasingly embarrassed having overgrown grass covering her sidewalks, as people would often walk their dogs in the neighborhood.

“There’s a lot of people that come by and walk their dogs, and they have to look at this,” Sylvia said.

Within two days Boy Scouts troop 600 from Tonawanda, New York, answered the call and showed up at Sylvia’s house with a smile, hands ready to work and a mission to help bring comfort to a sweet elderly woman.

The young men mowed the overgrown grass, raked leaves and made Sylvia’s yard look beautiful again.

They also trimmed the bushes that were so overgrown they were completely covering her front windows.

Sylvia was deeply grateful.

“I cried. I appreciate this so much. I can’t do anything anymore because I’m disabled, and I’m embarrassed, and I’m so happy,” Sylvia said. “But I’m just so grateful. I am. I’m not embarrassed anymore.”

“Oh what they’ve done so far is like a miracle here. I feel better.”

The kind young men even asked Sylvia if they could come back again to help her with her yard in the future.

“Absolutely,” she said with a smile.
